GM Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-US carmaker, has launched a restyled Chevrolet Captiva. The new model has better design and is equipped with new engine and transmission.

The forebody of Chevrolet Captiva has also underwent certain renovations: the restyled model has got new front headlight, changed bumpers and integrated fog-lights. External and internal design has been developed in details.Large and cozy salon of Captiva creates additional comfort for driver and passengers. Back seats of the second and third rows can be removed thus making seven-seat Captiva a vehicle for transportation of cargo. The car has parking sensors, CD/MP3 player, Bluetooth, navigation sensor display, emergency stop-light, and distance climate control. Chevrolet Captiva has six safety bags to ensure full safety of passengers and driver.

In contrast to earlier model, which had five-step automatic transmission with 3.2 liter engine with the capacity of 230 horsepower, the restyled model of Chevrolet Captiva is equipped with six-step automatic transmission and three-liter engine with the capacity of 258 horsepower. The new automatic transmission improves the technical characteristics and efficiency of the vehicle.

GM Uzbekistan plans to manufacture about 500 cars of restyled model by the end of the year. All the cars are planned for sales in the domestic market.
